Product Description
The Teflon coated O-Ring offers great versatility when you need the vacuum sealing power of Viton and the protection of Teflon. The brown Viton O-Ring has an extremely low co-efficient of friction and an excellent compression set, making it ideal for static sealing applications. The Viton also has a good chemical resistance since the Teflon coating may become permeable over time.
Teflon coated O-Rings are mostly used for our Prism line of glassware for the EPA Methods of Sampling and Collection Emissions Gas. When the EPA regulations prohibits the use of vacuum grease the Viton O-Ring will make the difficult seals and the Teflon protection keeps the sampling procedure in compliance. Blue in color.
