Prism Research Glass is proud to offer the Kuderna-Danish Flask. Hemispherical shaped flask bottom enhances the flow of heavier fractions to the concentrator tube during reflux. Top outer joint is a standard taper 24/40 and the bottom inner joint is a standard taper 19/22.

Prism Research Glass makes our glassware of Borosilicate Glassware often referred to as Pyrex. Borosilicate glassware is made from a blend of silica and boron trioxide. It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
