Description
Quartz Combination Probe Liner has 28/12 ball O-Ring joint and 5/8″ tubulation. 14/35 inner tapered joints on nozzle end which will slide through the steel sheath and mate with your nozzle of choice. Probe liners and nozzles are ordered separately. Nozzles have hooks (rabbit ears) to secure back to the sheath. Use PRG-1702-03 stainless steel joint clip with Quartz Combination Probe Liner.

When properly maintained, fused quartz can achieve a tensile strength of over 4.8 x 10⁷ Pa (7,000 psi), though a design stress of 0.68 x 10⁷ Pa (1,000 psi) is typically recommended for practical applications. This combination of strength and precision makes it a reliable choice for demanding environments.
One of the most remarkable qualities of fused quartz is its incredibly low thermal expansion, a mere fraction of that in materials like copper or borosilicate glass. A related property is its unusually high thermal shock resistance. For example, you can heat thin sections rapidly to above 1500°C and then plunged into water without cracking.
