Micro Jacketed Distilling Head, Claisen style head and long Vigreux column. Both top outer joints are 10/18 thermometer joints for 25mm immersion. Inner joints are the same size. Side port has drip tip. With an added evacuated jacket.

Prism Research Glass makes our glassware of Borosilicate Glassware often referred to as Pyrex. Borosilicate glassware is made from a blend of silica and boron trioxide. It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
