Description
The Midi-Vap Cyanide Distillation Unit for 50ml or less causes cyanide complexes to release from hydrocyanic Acid and is capture in a scrubber containing a solution of sodium hydroxide. Clear Seal joints available upon request.

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.
Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
