Description

The Immersion Adapter with Side Port has internal thread compression which fits to thermometers, probes and various tube diameters. Offered with a 29/42 or 45/50 tapered joint. 4mm Teflon stopcock can be used for exhaust or gas introduction. Supplied with Nylon bushing and Viton o-ring.

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
