Prism Research Glass is proud to offer the Beaded Pipe to Tube Stud Adapter. It allows for a smooth transition from a beaded pipe fitting to a heavy wall tube stud. Tube stud ends are nominal standard O.D. sizes to mate with compression fittings. Ends are etched for increased frictional grip. Offered straight or at 90°.

Prism Research Glass makes our Adapter, Beaded Pipe to Tube Stud of Borosilicate Glassware often referred to as Pyrex. Blend silica and boron trioxide to make borosilicate glassware. It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
