Prism Research Glass is proud to offer the Smog Sampling Bubbler. Inlet and outlet joints are 18/9 O-Ring ball and socket joints. 24/40 or 29/42 joint connect top with bottle. Bottle has 100mm long tube below the 125ml bulb. Impinger stem is a straight tube, no hold up. All joints have the grease free O-Ring seal (except the 29/42 inner joint).

Borosilicate Glassware Information

Prism Research Glass makes our glassware of Borosilicate Glassware often referred to as Pyrex. Borosilicate glassware is made from a blend of silica and boron trioxide. It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
