Description
The Continuous Liquid-Liquid Extractor set-ups for heavier than water solvents. Extended body provides longer solvent to sample interaction for increased efficiency. Sodium sulfate may be used in drying adapter with glass wool plug. Overflow arm has a 4mm Teflon stopcock to complete the continuous cycle if you opt for the 500ml extractor, it works on the same hydrolic principles as the 1000ml body, except with half the volume. Sodium sulfate is held in position with an extra coarse glass frit. Adapter also prevents bumping. Individual O-Ring apparatus available upon request.

Borosilicate Glassware Information

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.
Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
