Description

The COWIE® PTFE Stir Bar, Removable Ring is designed as either a cylindrical or pivot ring stir bar.

Cylindrical – General purpose stir bar with a smooth, round profile. Suitable for a wide variety of applications.

Pivot Ring – Designed for use in vessels with curved or uneven bases. The pivot ring enables the stir bar to adopt the optimum position for a smoother stirring action with reduced friction.

Box sets include an assortment of useful sizes of each type of stir bar, supplied with or without a re-useable container.

22 x Stir Bars: Cylindrical – 2 each of 13x8mm, 13x10mm, 20x8mm. Removable Ring – 2 each of 25x8mm, 25x10mm, 38x8mm, 42x10mm, 51x8mm, 51x10mm. 1 each of 32x8mm, 32x10mm, 38x10mm, 45x8mm

• Virgin grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI.
• Alnico V magnetic core.
• Chemical Resistance is virtually total.
• Temperature Range, -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
• You can consider the shelf life of the COWIE® PTFE Stir Bar, Spherical indefinite within the confines of normal use and storage conditions.
• Autoclavable.
