Description

The COWIE® PTFE Stir Bar, Octahedral has a polygonal shape providing increased turbulence. The added pivot ring enables the stir bar to adopt the optimum position for a smoother stirring action with reduced friction. Can be used in vessels with a curved or uneven base.

Box sets include an assortment of useful sizes of each type of stir bar, supplied with or without a re-useable container.

12 x Octahedral Stir Bars: 2 each of 13x8mm, 15x8mm, 25x10mm, 38x10mm, 51x10mm, 64x10mm

• Virgin grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI.
• Alnico V magnetic core.
• Chemical Resistance is virtually total.
• Temperature Range, -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
• You can consider the shelf life of the   COWIE® PTFE Stir Bar, Octahedral indefinite within the confines of normal use and storage conditions.
• Autoclavable.
