Description
The COWIE® PTFE Stir Bar, Octahedral has a polygonal shape providing increased turbulence. The added pivot ring enables the stir bar to adopt the optimum position for a smoother stirring action with reduced friction. Can be used in vessels with a curved or uneven base.
- Virgin grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI.
- Alnico V magnetic core.
- Chemical Resistance is virtually total.
- Temperature Range, -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
- You can consider the shelf life of the COWIE® PTFE Stir Bar, Octahedral indefinite within the confines of normal use and storage conditions.
- Autoclavable.
