Description

COWIE® Turbo PTFE Stir Bar, Oval is designed for use in round/concave bottomed vessels. The oval shape reflects that of the flask to ensure complete mixing with minimal friction.

Turbo stir bars use stronger Rare Earth magnets and you can identify by an inert carbon black spot.

• Virgin grade PTFE conforming to FDA and USP Class VI.
• Rare Earth (Samarium-Cobalt) magnetic core.
• Chemical Resistance is virtually total.
• Temperature Range, -200°C to 260°C (-328°F to 500°F).
• You can consider the shelf life of the COWIE® Turbo PTFE Stir Bar, Oval indefinite within the confines of normal use and storage conditions.
• Autoclavable.
