Description
Use the Distillation Isolation Adapter with distillation heads PRG-7326, PRG-7328 & PRG-7330. Position it between the discharge port and the collection vessel. Operator can isolate the collection vessel and break vacuum without interrupting the distillation process. A 1/2″ support rod is installed for added durability.

Borosilicate Glassware Information
Prism Research Glass makes our Distillation Isolation Adapter of Borosilicate Glassware often referred to as Pyrex. Borosilicate glassware is made from a blend of silica and boron trioxide. It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.
Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
