Description
The Jacketed Vigreux Distillation Head path has indentations and is vacuum jacketed for improved vapor flow. Two 10/18 joints provide 2″ thermometer immersion. Side west condenser is braced with a 1/2″ support rod.

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.
Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
