Description

Conical Bottom Flask allows use down to greatly reduce volumes. The three necks have the same size standard taper outer joints. A fourth neck has a #18 GL threaded joint for 6-7mm compression fit. Nut and compression fitting included.

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
