Description
Manifold ports have a Hi-Vacuum single oblique glass stopcock to a tapered inner joint. Spaced approximately 110mm apart. 19/22 top joint is for a vacuum gauge. Main stopcock has 8mm bore and 35/25 socket ends. Prism Research Glass supplies the manifold with a 35/25 ball O-Ring stopper plug and pinch clamp. Vacuum grease is recommended.

Prism Research Glass makes our glassware of Borosilicate Glassware often referred to as Pyrex. Borosilicate glassware is made from a blend of silica and boron trioxide. It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.
Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
