J-Kem® Scientific, Thermocouple Probe, Dual Element

Description

Dual element thermocouples contain two independent thermocouples in a single probe.

All sensors are housed in 304 stainless steel sheaths.

Teflon overcoating is PFA coating over stainless steel probe.

Note:

To read temperatures accurately, the type of the thermocouple must match the controller’s type. On a new controller, the type is the letter immediately following the model number: 210-K-S.

Probes are color coded! On an existing controller, the thermocouple type is indicated by the color of the thermocouple receptacle on the front.

If the receptacle is BLUE you must order a type T thermocouple.
If the receptacle is YELLOW you must order a type K thermocouple.
If the receptacle is BLACK you must order a type J thermocouple.
If the receptacle is WHITE you must order a type Pt/100 thermocouple.
