Description

Small Orifice Midget Impinger for sampling low volumes and velocity of gases. 24/40 joint connects top with bottle. Bottle volume is 30ml. Prism Research Glass offers the tops with 12/5 or 18/9 ball joint size. All joints have O-Ring seals – no grease required. Impinging stem is tapered to 1.0mm I.D.

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
