Description

The Stir Paddle with Stabilizer Set Pin is fabricated from 25% glass filled Teflon and used with PRG-7204 Shafts. Inter-locking design functions in viscous environments. The bottom portion accepts the 1/2″ pin from the PRG-7027 flush mount drain valve. Creating better stability during mixing operations. Offered to fit 3/4″ and 1.25″ shafts.

Teflon, also known as PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene), is a synthetic fluoropolymer with a wide range of applications due to its unique properties. Key specifications include high temperature resistance, excellent chemical resistance, low friction, and non-stick characteristics.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
