Description

Sublimator Vessel connection is an O-Ring seal Duran flange. Vessel flask has a 90mm I.D. and a 17mm gap to the condenser cylinder for optimal sublimate collection. 0-8mm Teflon vacuum control valve with 3/8″ serrated hose barb.

Borosilicate Glassware Information

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.

Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
