Description
Modular Vacuum Trap connects to manifolds PRG-6515, PRG-6520 and PRG-6525, and to the pumping system. Trap prevents solvent from entering pump when used with PRG-5195 and PRG-5200 Dewars. 35/25 ball joint has a Viton O-Ring seal. Trap dimensions are 45mm O.D. x 320mm long.

It is the standard for laboratory use because of its chemical resistance to various chemicals. This resistance makes it suitable for diverse laboratory applications. It is highly resistant to chemical attack by most substances, including water, acids, and organic solvents.
Borosilicate has a low coefficient of thermal expansion which means it can withstand rapid temperature changes. It can typically handle temperature ranges between -80°C (-112°F) and 500°C (930°F) without cracking and typically has a melting point of around 1650°C (3000°F).
