Description
Cylindrical reaction vessel has a flange surface tooled flat with an O-Ring groove and finely ground. Leak free seals can be achieved either by use of an O-Ring or grease. When using a greased application under vacuum, the O-Ring groove acts as a barrier, not allowing grease into the chamber and causing contamination. The drain valve in a closed position seats flush to the inside radius of the vessel. This eliminates dead space and allows complete stirring of contents. The drain spout is a heavy wall tubulation with an etched tip to work with a compression fitting. For clamps see PRG-188, for O-Ring see PRG-187.
